Demographic Statistics Platform
About this project
The Demographic Statistics Platform was developed by Web Foundation for the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia to provide detailed demographic and migration statistics through a centralized digital system. The platform provides statistical information about Armenia's population, including people entering and leaving the country, population distribution across cities and villages, gender distribution and other demographic indicators.
The Solution
The platform transforms large volumes of demographic data into structured statistics, dashboards and charts that authorized users can explore using different criteria and filters. Users can analyze population and migration data by region, urban or rural location, gender, age and other demographic characteristics. Dedicated sections provide dashboards, charts, foreign-citizen statistics and other views for analyzing demographic trends.
Technical Implementation
Web Foundation developed the platform using Laravel with Oracle as the database technology. The system was designed to process and present large demographic datasets while supporting complex filtering, statistical aggregation and visualization. The platform also includes role-based access to administrative functionality, data import capabilities, system logs and multiple types of statistical charts for presenting population and migration data.
Development & Delivery
Web Foundation was responsible for the development and delivery of the platform, translating statistical and government requirements into a production-ready software system. The project required working with complex demographic datasets and building functionality that could transform raw information into meaningful statistics for different population categories, geographic areas and migration indicators.
